Shaped like on elongated "S", Vietnam stretches the length of the Indochinese Peninsula and extends across two climatic zones, with a moderate climate in the North, and a tropical climate in the South.

On your travels, you will see men, women and children working hard together in the fields with their buffalos etching out a living, but always ready with a smile for the passer-by. The war is long gone and only used nowadays as o tourist attraction, the long wonderful coastline, more often than not, soaked in sun, is breathtaking. Today Vietnam has a population of about 80 million people. 

Vietnam has many traditional and religious holidays but none can be compared to New Year festival (Tet), which may fall in late January or early February. To the Vietnamese people this festival is very sacred.
